On iPhone and iPad, AuraMix processes music you own — imported files and DRM-free purchases. Streaming services encrypt their audio, so no third-party app can run it through an EQ engine; anyone claiming otherwise is bending the truth. On the Mac it's a different story: turn on System EQ and it shapes everything you hear — Music, Safari, streaming, games — because it works on your Mac's audio output, not the protected file. We'd rather tell you straight than surprise you after you download.
